Home, Work, Mobile Web, Internet Cafe’s, or the Libraries Computer, most people now use multiple computers or web enabled devices with some degree of regularity.  Wouldn’t it be nice if you could access one common set of bookmarks so you can easily access the sites you use most (or share that obscure site whose name you just can’t remember?

If you answered this YES, then you will want to check out XMarks (formerly  Foxmarks).  This great service originally only for firefox but now supports most major browsers.  Chrome client support is currently in Alpha but it should not be too much longer!  For public computers you can log in and access and search your bookmarks via any browser!

IT will even securely synch saved passwords,  which is a blessing if you use non-trivial unique passwords.

You can find out more and download the client for your browser at http://www.xmarks.com
